Automotive Software Engineer

📍 Regensburg, Germany

👋 About Me

Passionate software engineer with 2+ years of experience in automotive software development. I love learning new technologies and now I am learning LLMs in my free time. You will find me either enjoying a good cup of coffee while debugging the latest challenge or binge watching movies.

💼 Experience

Systems Engineer

EDAG Engineering GmbH, Regensburg, Germany

📅 Feb 2024 - Present

Developing Python-based data fusion and sensor-processing concepts for ADAS functions, owning unit-test design in TPT/Cmocka and MBD/C components, and improving automated test infrastructure and reporting in an agile, international team.

Software Developer (Working Student)

Continental ADC GmbH, Ulm, Germany

📅 Nov 2022 - Dec 2023

Prototyped ADAS concepts in MATLAB to simplify architectures and reduce test effort, implemented C++ interval-arithmetic and Python tooling for data analysis and automation, and wrote CMake/gTest unit tests validated with in-house tools.

Software Developer (Intern)

Continental ADC GmbH, Ulm, Germany

📅 Jan 2022 - Oct 2022

Automated Python/OpenCV test scenarios for Ethernet-based camera driver-assistance, ran CANoe/CAPL rest-bus simulations and HiL tests with integrated OEM components, and performed functional testing of camera calibration features.

🚀 Projects

Energy Management System for Mild Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle

🛠️ MATLAB, Simulink

Developed a simulation-based energy management system for a mild parallel hybrid electric vehicle as part of the Seminar Electromobility course at TU Kaiserslautern. Implemented the controller and state logic in MATLAB/Simulink, integrated them into a full vehicle model, and evaluated fuel consumption under different driving cycles (NEDC and FTP-75).

Model-Based Development of a System Architecture for Vehicle Platforms

🛠️ SysMD, SysML v2, OOSEM

Built SysMD/SysML v2 models for the logical and physical architecture of an adaptive cruise control system using OOSEM principles, including detailed component interfaces, pin-level connections, and signal routing. Defined installation-space based geometric models to analyze weight distribution, and derived quantitative weight and cost metrics directly from the architecture to support early design decisions.

Minimalist Resume Website with Local LLM Chatbot

🛠️ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Nginx, Raspberry Pi, Llama 3.2

Minimalist, responsive personal resume site served from a Raspberry Pi using Nginx, including dark/light theme support and animated sections. Integrating a local chatbot that runs a small Llama 3.2 model on the Pi to answer recruiter questions about my experience and projects via a custom chat widget.
